Back in March, the Ronin network endured a devastating hack that resulted in losses surpassing $600 million. At that time, Sky Mavis operated with just nine validator nodes—a little like having a single security guard at a high-stakes poker game. Now, they have ramped up to 18 nodes and are working towards 21, making it increasingly difficult for cybercriminals to find a weak link.
