New Cryptos on the Block
Binance.US, the American arm of the globally renowned crypto exchange Binance, recently announced an exciting update for its users. As of September 23, five new cryptocurrencies are now available for deposit: Cardano (ADA), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Stellar (XLM), and 0x (ZRX). While the news is undoubtedly thrilling, users will have to practice a bit of patience as these coins are currently only available for deposits and withdrawals won’t be enabled until trading officially kicks off.
A Range of Trading Pairs
The initial trading pairs accompanying these new additions are giving users a broader spectrum for transactions. Here’s the rundown:
- USD Pairs: ADA/USD, BAT/USD, ETC/USD, XLM/USD and ZRX/USD
- USDT Pairs: ADA/USDT, BAT/USDT, ETC/USDT, XLM/USDT and ZRX/USDT
These pairs expand the trading options for users eager to diversify their portfolios.
Starting with a Bang
As reported by Cointelegraph, Binance.US is kicking things off with an impressive 13 fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-crypto trading pairs. This includes a host of heavy hitters in the crypto space: Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Ripple’s XRP, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Binance Coin (BNB), and USDT, to name a few. It’s like throwing a cryptocurrency party and inviting all the popular guests!
Limited Access
However, it’s important to note that Binance.US services will initially be limited to most of the United States, with the exception of 13 states. So, if you’re in one of those states, it might be time to contemplate a road trip if you’re eager to get in on the crypto action!
Going Global
This move is part of Binance’s larger international expansion plan. Earlier this year, Binance opened a crypto-fiat platform in Jersey, making it even easier for users to trade British pounds and euros for Bitcoin and Ether. Talk about broadening horizons!
