It might surprise no one that the pay at the EBA is akin to what one might find in other government jobs—read: not exactly a bankroller’s paradise. Campa pointed out that experts in cryptocurrencies are often tempted by private sector roles that offer significantly higher salaries. As the demand for these experts soars, the EBA risks losing out on top talent simply because their paychecks are more enticing elsewhere.
The Unpredictable Future of Crypto
Campa’s crystal ball isn’t working too well when it comes to predicting the future of crypto. He remarked, “I don’t know exactly what I would be confronted with in two years.
