As VTSIOM’s general director, Valery Fyodorov, points out, previous exit polling methods often had all the stability of a tightrope walker on a windy day. “Until now, we had to practically shut down the website on polling day to avoid attacks from numerous anonymous hackers,” Fyodorov noted. But with Blockchain, they’re promising a fortress-like level of data protection — think Fort Knox but for polling info!
