In a surprising turn of events, Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Liquid has publicly disclosed the wallet address associated with the proceeds from its Gram token sale. This announcement, made on August 30, brings transparency for investors who participated in the sale that took place back in July.

Funds in Cold Storage

The funds from the Gram token sale, currently valued at approximately $4,118,853.70 in USD Coin (USDC), will remain securely tucked away in cold storage. This strategy aims to ensure the safety of the funds until the release and delivery of the assets by Gram Asia, the entity behind the token.

The Ton of Potential: What is Gram?

For many, the excitement around Gram revolves around its connection to the Telegram Open Network (TON). This yet-to-be-released native token is poised to enter the market, catching the attention of prospective investors. Back when the second initial coin offering (ICO) round took place in March 2018, Telegram managed to raise a staggering $850 million, pushing its valuation to $1.7 billion.
