Digital Residency Program

The seeds for this digital evolution were planted back in January with the introduction of the Root Name System (RNS) Digital Residency program, a collaborative effort involving California-based Cryptic Labs. This program not only offers identity cards but also elevates Palau onto the global tech stage, allowing individuals from any corner of the globe to obtain a card issued by Palauan authorities.

CZ also referred to Palau as a “very good prototyping ground.” He highlighted how small nations, much like the tiny island nation, can swiftly adapt and innovate in ways larger countries often can’t.
