Under a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III agreement, this contract spans five years, with an initial funding of $9.5 million. Simba Chain’s CEO, Joel Neidig, announced that the platform is expected to be operational this year, and the team has plans for ongoing updates over the next four years.

Prior Experience with Military Projects
Simba Chain is no newcomer to military contracts. The startup previously collaborated with the U.S. Air Force to develop a blockchain-based supply chain solution starting in August 2019.
